In these images I am exploring the idea that new technologies can be mixed with antique processes to create something entirely new. There is a transfer of power where the old techniques have been destroyed by new technology yet when combined they create something beautiful. I have used a wet inkjet transfer method on found Antique paper for these images. The portraits depicted were captured with a flatbed scanner and after they were transferred they were once again scanned into the digital world.
